ok, so you guys, I got this wicked bladder infection. and I pretty much took the weekend off of "dieting" though I honestly didn't go over 1200 cals anyway. But basically, I didnt' puke or take diuretics or laxatives since thursday. Friday i went to the doc for antibiotics. Yesterday, I ate an apple for breakfast, a salad (spring mix, couple kidney beans, kale, beets, peas, asian dressing, kamut) for lunch, and minestrone for dinner. I drank a half a quart of Good Belly probiotic juice drink, ate 1/4 cup or more of raw flax seeds, and took my vitamins. So saturday was all about healthy, natural poop prep. And today (sunday) I had success 2 big times!!! I felt more cleansed out than after my usual daily 1 hour of lax induced diarrhea. I'm so happy that after only one day of no poop, I had so much success. Probiotics ARE THE answer for the digestive tract. I also got keifer, which I haven't had yet at all. I'll probably have some of that tonight before bed.... ONE worrisome thing: I think I might still get a yeast infection. My whole bottom- front to back- still hurts and burns/itches. :-( maybe it's just still the bladder infection. we'll see. I take the antibiotics through tues so I'll know what's up by next weekend.
